Positano is a paper-backed linen blend wallcovering that evokes the spirit of the Italian summer. This wallcovering is inspired by Melinda Marquardt's travels through Italy, from the vibrant streets of Rome to the picturesque vistas of Positano. The design of Positano originates from hand-painted motifs on bespoke ceramic plates created for an intimate dinner party. These illustrations, rich with the charm of European gatherings, have been translated into a block print that captures scenes of feasts, friendships, love, and wine.

The Block Printing Process
The creation of Positano involves the traditional art of block printing, a meticulous process that starts with artisans carving designs into wooden blocks. Each block is dipped into dye and then pressed onto the linen blend fabric, ensuring every detail of the original design is transferred.
